Farncombe Tournament 17.05.2008

Saturday 17th May 2008, to be at the pitch for 2.00 pm.

What a start to the tournament..
Owen's arm had to be wrapped in bubble wrap so he could play, which took to long to do and Owen and i missed the start of the 1st game...

The boys sorted who was starting where, which they should not of had to do but never mind we all know what should of happened and what did!! well done to the team for being so organised...

So our first game was to Chobham and the game finished 2-1 to Chobham with Ryan scoring our goal..

Our 2nd game we played Hersham and again Ryan scored a FANTASTIC goal from the half way line hammering it into the goal, Patrick also made a great save...

Our 3rd game we played Worplesdon they had to play with out Concardo as he had been taken out really badly by Chobham's goalie, the score finished 1-0 with Adam scoring a great goal. Owen passed up field to Adam who then ran the ball and was 1 on 1 with the goalie, Adam shot straight into the back of the net...

Our last game was against Walton, Adam scored with in a minute of the game, then Walton scored making the game 1-1, all the boys seemed to want this game with Harry passing forward, Jack running forward and coming back and Bradley and Adam attacking the goal. End score 3-1 to FC 2000 with Adam scoring the fastest and only hat-trick of the day!!!

We went through to the semi-finals and had to play the winners of group A which was Lyne Cardinals, we had an ok game, Patrick made 2 fantastic saves coming out of goal and clearing the ball off the pitch, but Lyne managed to end up with the ball slowly rolling into an open goal... The game finished 1-0 to Lyne, who played the final against Farncombe and Lyne won the tournament...

Being a division 4 team this should of been the case...
